Exciting news! I ~finally~ did something to my hair!! My long brown waves are no more! Don’t worry- I didn’t do anything to drastic. I cut off around 6 inches of my hair and it’s actually relatively short now (for me at least) and I got a blondish ombre to lighten up my look for summer.

Make this summer the best one yet!
You worked hard this year and you deserve a break. Enjoy this summer and spend time with the people you love. Most importantly, make this summer one you can look back on with great memories you created with even greater people.
Hey people! During the summer I made a post where I set a goal for myself, and I discovered by posting my goal publicly and updating you guys with my progress, gave me more motivation to stick to it. I HIGHLY encourage anyone with a goal to accomplish to do this, whether it be short-term or long-term!
My goal is to land a summer internship. Preferably paid, but any internship I will take. I will be graduating from college in a year and I NEED some work experience. My hunt has begun and I have until summer to search for it! Wish me luck! I will keep you all updated on my journey to an internship, and if any one out there has any advice for me please leave it in the comments! I’d be very appreciative 🙂
A little while back I wrote a post about my Top 5 Cutest Skirts that I own. The pictures came out low quality.. but you got the gist and I mean they were cute skirts. So if you haven’t guessed from the title, this post will be just like that one, only with my top 5 favorite rompers in my closet. Rompers are my all time favorite summer piece. It’s so easy. Instead of planning an outfit you could literally just slip on one comfortable piece and you still look nice and put together. I honestly don’t think there’s any clothing I love more. Unfortunately, shopping for rompers is a bit difficult for me sometimes because I’m short so they often fit a bit awkward. The straps of the top will often be too long and the shorts will be too baggy. However, I’ve discovered stores that make great rompers for people of my size and I recommend them to you if you are also petite. So here are my top 5 favorite rompers in my closet, and the best places to buy them
1.Rue 21 Strapless Floral Romper
2. Wet Seal Popover Flounce Woven Romper with Pockets (can find here)
3. Wet Seal Nautical Romper
4. Wet Seal Tulip Sleeve Off-The-Shoulder Romper (can buy here)
5. Joyce Leslie Black and White Romper
If you haven’t noticed, Wet Seal is great place to buy rompers if you are petite. Rue 21 also is awesome. Although I only included one romper in this list, I own another romper from Rue 21 and both are great go-to outfits if I’m not sure what to wear. The rompers fit perfectly. My romper from Joyce Leslie is also super cute, but unfortunately Joyce Leslie has closed (sad face). PETITE GIRLS: Where do you buy your rompers??? Please let me know! I’m always looking for new places to buy rompers that will actually fit me!
By the way guys, I recently linked my blog to Bloglovin’ so now you can also keep up with me here!
Fourth of July is only a few days away which means it’s time for beaches and barbecues. Here are some of the cutest patriotic swimsuits whether you’re lying in the sand or relaxing by the pool with your family and friends.
Mix and match pieces to add your own nautical flair
FINALLY school is out! Time for beach days and long, summer nights. It’s ALSO time for less clothing, and loose, floaty pieces. As soon as school let out, I immediately hit up the best sales and stocked up on all of the best trends for the summer. Here are some pieces you should totally add into your wardrobe for the season.
1. Off the shoulder tops

Sometimes it’s hard being a blogger when you don’t have the best camera and aren’t the best with technology. I wish I had someone to teach me how to edit my theme and make it look all high-end like other bloggers, and I wish I had someone to take my pictures for me. But I don’t. But I’m still here. I’m simply just a college student who enjoys writing and fashion, so why should I care about someone else’s blog looking better than mine? I’ll learn in time how to make my blog more appealing. But for those of you who actually read my content, thank you. I sure do enjoy writing it.
What’s summer without a little sunburn? Sorry I straight up look like a lobster, but the outfit is nice, isn’t it? High-waisted shorts have become a summer staple because they allow me to bare some skin without it being too much.
I love all things floral. This top is especially cool because it zips up the front and has a corset- type feel. The pretty blue backdrop of the crop top is perfect against all skin tones and the floral adds a nice girly touch perfect for the season. This cropped top paired with high-waisted shorts is the perfect combination.
Although summer is in the air, it’s still a little chilly where I’m at. I decided to add this white knit sweater on top. It’s large and oversized with quarter sleeves so it’s shaped kind of like a kimono which is a HUGE summer trend. But the knit material is nice and thick so it still keeps me warm.
Kickin’ off this summer-y outfit with a classic pair of sandals. This is my go-to pair because I think the leaf design looks so cool.
